BG Products: BG Brake Fluid Service

Calipers on disc brakes operate similar to bicycle brakes. With pressure of hydraulic fluid, brake pistons press the pads against the brakes. Brake fluid attracts moisture, becomes contaminated and compromises braking performance that may require caliper replacement.

A test strip shows how well the fluid is protecting the brake system.

The BG Brake Service removes all the old fluid and replaces it with new high temp formula DOT 3 or DOT 4 Brake Fluid.

Brakes are your most important safety system, so it pays to have it inspected regularly.

Brake fluid becomes oxidized and contaminated over time and use. Heat and moisture causes corrosion on parts and brake fluid failure. This causes a spongy brake pedal and shows up in discolored brake fluid.

Before the BG Products Brake Fluid BG Service

Harmful deposits and varnish build-up-resulting from worn-out, oxidized brake fluid-are apparent on this brake master cylinder piston assembly.

The entire brake system is inspected for leaks, master cylinder corrosion, worn pneumatic parts, harmful varnish build-up, broken or rusted bleeder valves, worn rotors and drums and air in the brake lines. All old brake fluid is replaced with BG Heavy Duty DOT 3 or DOT 4 Brake Fluid. The result will be longer lasting, more efficient and safer braking system.

After this service you will notice:
•Safe, reliable operation
•Corrosion prevention
